Webra .61LS-RE
Greetings,
I picked up a Metterhausen "MATADOR" (first generation 2M Pattern) at a recent - last weekend - swap meet near Heidelberg, Germany in fair shape in true "put fuel in and fly" condition. Motor is the WEBRA rear exhaust LS/w pump/pipe (I'm aware of the implications[:@]).
Question is: WHAT PROP?? 12x10? The dude I got it from had a 11x10 GRAUPNER sport prop on it - seems a bit wimpy.
Other mods to the airframe was a change from retracts (apparently never fitted) to a fuse mounted setup - not very nicely done[:'(] but functional. Will post a pic or two once I get it cleaned up a bit.
Pete

15 GRAND with the long-stroke[X(]!! Wow! I simply can't remember what that engine turned (over 50 brain-fade). I've got two of the beasts, both with mix control. The one in question I hope to have in the air within the next ten days - after I change out the sport servos (Cheapo M'plex nanos and 2 Profis on Ail.) for 4000 series JR's (or the digi's I've got squirreld away) and the dude I got the plane from sends me the pipe. I have the cranked WEBRA (Hatori?) pipe that came with my other LS (to be used in a Metterhausen "CHARMER" NIB) that I can use in a pinch. What fuel were you using?
