How nice it looks in the UMS Seidel 7-35.
It has been run in 6 hours.
Nice and clean and no rust at all.

As well as here Lars,it's really interesting to see the insides of various commercial engines. It looks like the Carburettor feeds directly into the crankcase. Are there also openings into the cam drum compartment? I wonder why most of the others don't do that, but have a separate sealed intake chamber at the rear of the engine. They rely on oil blowby to lubricate the bottom end and cam drive. Hmm... I'm still working on my own design and it's details like this that make life interesting!

BTW, great photos of your PT-17. Looks like the real thing in the air. Do you have a video? With SOUND?

Anyone else smell fish cooking with this guy that's been a member since 2009,
has only posted 1 time and is selling a $3,000 radial engine that he doesn’t actually have in his possession?

http://www.rcuniverse.com/market/item.cfm?itemId=787289

" Brand new with two year warranty moki 150 radial engine. I purchased this engine before the prices went up. This engine is paid for and is still in the hands of the company that i purchased from. They hung on to the engine per my request. I told them I would not be able to get to the project for atleast six months. I work contracting on the road and I am about to have to go back on the road, so I will not be able to do anything with it for a while. So, I have decided to use the money for my travel expenses and just re-purchase another moki 150 when all the natural disasters settle. I work in natural disasters and with this year's weather, you can imagine how busy I have been. I really dont want to do this and pay the higher price for this engine later, but I just may if someone is interested. The company is willing to sell this engine as new with the warranty per my conversation with them today as if I never had purchased it, but it has to be done this way because it is past the return policy date and i would have to pay a re-stocking fee if I return it and I will keep the engine before I do that. However, the return police for me is not the same for whoever decides to purchase this engine, it will be treated as a first time purchase with the 30 day return policy. I purchased this engine six or more weeks ago. Again, this engine never left the factory per my request because I was not ready for the engine yet due to the fact it would sit on my shelf for six months or longer and the warranty would just waste away without me even touching it. The company has asked to leave out their name and the sales rep's name. However, it is a very reputable company as there are very few places in the US that sell this engine. Call me for their contact information and my sales rep that I deal with. I am Jeremy and my number is 256 483 6916. Thanks! "

Let me get the facts strait here,

You bought this engine before the prices went up.
This engine is paid for.
You work contracting on the road.
You have decided to use the money (from the paid for engine) for your travel expenses.
Your just going to re-purchase another Moki 150 when all the natural disasters settle at a higher price.
You really don’t want to do this and pay the higher price for this engine later, but you just may if someone is interested. (To help them out?)
The company is willing to sell this engine as new with the warranty per your conversation with them. (You got a company to sell an engine to a new customer for the old cheaper price and still give a 2 year warranty?)
"...it has to be done this way because it is past the return policy date and I would have to pay a re-stocking fee...However, the return police for me is not the same for whoever decides to purchase this engine, it will be treated as a first time purchase with the 30 day return policy." (Dude you have got to teach me how you get companies to bend their polices to your will!)
I purchased this engine six or more weeks ago. Again, this engine never left the factory. (Wait? Is this engine in the US or is it at the Moki factory in Hungary?)
You were not ready for the engine yet due to the fact it would sit on my shelf for six months? (Man I have engines that have sitting on shelves for 20 years waiting for planes to be built for them! Heck, would take me 2 or 3 years to build a plane for this engine!)
The company has asked to leave out their name and the sales rep's name. (Yeah, they don't want to answer calls about the validity of this sale.)

One and the same. The crankcase has "Evolution-UMS" machined into it.

Hi,

I know this is a model forum, but here is a video I made of my mate starting his heavy metal warbird, I know it's Chinese, but it has a radial and it 'served' in the mlitary, so for under $50k you can fly your own real bird. It's surprisingly narrow in the cockpit and the wing platform from the back seat with the square wing tips can make you feel like you're in a Navy plane, plus the smell of the oil, petrol and old leather seems just so right.

Hi,

Here's progress on my ASM SU26M, with the Saito, 325R, not quite like 10 litres of 9 Cylinder supercharged warbird, but getting there........

It will have a Microsens on board glo driver and a full 1/4 scale cockpit, the rough install has been done for sizing - check out the pictures...
