Did I just imagine this, or did someone say that when ordering a gasket set from Saito, that of the intake manifold 0-rings supplied, that one of them was in a separate bag labeled Viton? (the other would go between the manifold and carb where less heat exists)

I'll explain. I have a small concho belt business. I'm puting a Saito 150 in a Pac Aero Tiger Moth now. Many problems with this ARF and the factory support sucks. They are located about 1 1/2 hours away and I may drive up there and give then a piece of my mind in person instead of on the telephone.

Powerlines,

Mac sold you a .82 with that backplate? Mac Hodges is a great hobby shop with great prices. A lot of us go over there for fuel and stuff. We get next day shipping from Hodges as the mail drop is right between our locations.

(parts removed)
Finally, I've put you on the list as member number 258 in Club Saito.
captb:

I have also put you in as member number 258. Always nice to spread the blame a little further. Haw.
Aww, you mean I have to share? Nothing against captb of course. Guess when I buy a used Saito I have to work my way up to my own number

Piper:

Please excuse my typo - Piper28 is 257, captb is 258. The file listing is correct, I hit the wrong key when I posted your number.

Does anyone know the mounting hole dimensions for a Saito 82? (Pref in metric) - sorry too lazy to look in the instuction manual and can't find it on the internet anywhere.

I got it over a year ago and put it on a SIG something extra. I just did not like the way it flew and sold it. I like the planes like the Funtana, Edge540, CAP232.

BUT yes. I got it from Mac. I buy 95% of all my stuff from him. He is a good friend of my Brother in Law and I like to keep $$ Local.. You know..

LATER
PM me when you are comming down and I will try to meet ya'll..

Later again!

Ok, now I have a hopefully easy enough question. I have gotten 3 factory fuel pumps systems, yeah i know but i got a great deal. These are the SAI300TTDP102 that are listed in the book for all three (72, 125 and 150) engines that i have. But when they come in from Saito there in no instructions for mounting or set up. HELP!!!!!!! LOL. Rather frustratng to have new toys and not know where all the parts go.

Does anyone have a set of exauhst pipes for a FA 90T? I'v got one on a Ultra Stick 40 and broke the nylon landing gear bolts off and mine contacted the runway. Not much damage but they are bent abit but seems to run O. K. I'll probably need them for the next hard landing.

Hey Guys,

I fired up my 82 for the first time today, ran 3 tanks of fuel threw it. Seems to running pretty nice, still very rich. This is my first four stroke. When set up properly how many RPM should I expect with a 14x4W prop. With it running rich I was *****g out around 7500 RPM, is this normal. I know with my two strokes even when rich, still got around 10,000 RPM.

Thanks.

GF:

That 14x4W is not enough prop. Recommend you go at least to a 6" pitch, the four stroke engines don't turn the rpm needed for good air speed with 4" pitch. And you may want to go up an inch in diameter also.

Bill.
