Thanks for the info, guys... I know that I can get the right bearings from Boca or RC Bearing... My question was whether anyone knew why there was no part number there... it would seem to me that Saito would like to sell their own bearing (at an outrageous price) and was curious why none was listed.

I'll get my bearings from RC Bearing. Boca Bearing is also good but I found their prices to be a lot more expensive than RCB...

Well up until they are too heavy to fly, or can be used for toothpicks. My Biper met an untimely demise on its maiden, so have to rebuild the lower wings and fix the fuse above the door. I will most likely just make it a regular Cub now instead.

I wonder what the fuel consumption is on that baby? The tank looks way too small to get very far. Then again cooling all the cylinders could be an issue not to mention the heat on your legs!

My Aplha Code Chart says the Code for the plain 1.00 is QQ which is listed with Part # SAI300t21 for the 1.00 rear bearing. Why it's not in the manual, I have no clue.

Wellain't you lucky i did bob.Genuine saito bearings are good my 182 twin is on the standard ones after 4 years of tuning abuse,the singles got fed more nitro and less care so they suffered accordingly.Anybody here who moans about the price of bearings,like a 2 dollar difference ain't worth talkin to hell we spill more than that on a good drinkin night before we ride our bikes home

Not. I have a felt clunk on my fill bottle, and thats it. I used to have one in the tank, but found it restricted fuel flow after a while. I just use a screened clunk now. I figure the dirt is going to be in the can, not the tank, and as long as I keep the filler fitting clean, shouldn't have any dirt worries, and 4 years of doing gas, not a single issue with dirt.

Man, I haven't flown since the 11th. Been too busy getting things ready for our main vacation at the end of July. First time owning a travel trailer, didn't realize just how much is needed to use one. We had our shakedown trip over the weekend, and it went very well, actually slept better than I did at home.

I havent flown since the 11th, forgot what a Saito sounds like. I did go out today and got my OS on the LT-40 running after 40 minutes fiddlin with the needles. Now it runs almost as good as a Saito. almost, not quite. Way too gusty to be enjoyable, so didn't even pull the SSE out of the truck.
