Back when I was "single", when they made "last call", I started looking under the tables for some female "companionship" after the bar closed.

Hey that's neat, when it started to run out of fuel i thought for a moment that it might flick the prop. It's unlikely that watching that vid will pop sr's cork out of that bottle of 'love potion No9'

I have flown my SU-31 since 2008 with Saito 220.
I mounted the CDI in 2015, nothing I regret.
I bought from England http://www.morrisminimotors.com/

Fully orgasmic for me - it was it's first run.

It's supposed to end up in an ME 109 - if I can figure out a prop extension that won't tear the front end off (I don't want to have to cut the bejeezus out of my cowling to get it to fit)

Is there anything particular you have to do if mounting the engine upside down?

Yup be prepared to spend hours crouched over on your knees endlessly flicking the prop till you figure out how easy they are to prime and how stubborn they can be to start, jeez reminds everyone of their first girlfriend. That 180 going in an me109 cowl sounds interesting can you block mount the engine further forward and relieve the cowl belly for the rocker covers to poke thru?

I'm trying to mount the engine as far back as I can - to minimize the amount of cowl cutting I'll need to do.

Well, that's the plan, anyways..

1. Rotate the engine (and mount) so that the exhaust valve is at the lowest point of the engine. This will allow fuel to drain out of the exhaust valve when it is open instead of pooling in the cylinder head and flooding the engine.
2. Mount the fuel tank so that the centerline of the tank is about even with the needle valve. This will reduce the head pressure on the fuel and help prevent flooding of the engine.
3. If the above does not prevent flooding, invert the plane, putting the cylinder up, while starting. I suggest not trying to taxi or take off from this inverted position, unless you have a good helper and your plane is capable of almost vertical takeoff.
Good luck.

Sincerely, Richard
