I've had bad luck with APCs being balanced. Not complaining about the chore. I also sand the leading edges smooth and check runout.

No doubt about that , he is one chicken . Thats what I luv about labs , they havent a mean bone in there body and are a great family pet but they do luv their tucker . Heres a few pics of our current lab as well as the one before . Lasted a week shy of his 16th birthday . We still miss him alot . cheers

A great dog is a great dog and once youve had at least one you get pretty biased . One thing I cant stand is pitbulls and I do like all dogs unless they bite . Theres no place on the planet for them . They maybe ok for the owners but how could you fully trust them . All they have to is escape or little Johnny jumps your fence to retrieve a ball or granny is walking past and they chew threw the anchor chain and blinged out $ sign from fifty cent and it hits the fan . I know that this may bring down the wrath of god from the oil threads but so be it ! Cheers

ps barry don't know brian winch but he can't be crankier than dave and sr ?? i've just had a fantasy lets lock all three in a small room with 50 nib saitos and two cartons of beer.

When crunchy mentioned blade tracking i was making a joke about heli's,can't stand to fly a good saito with them.Be about as bad as say my dog saito breaking in to the bar fridge and drinking his whole months worth of love potion number 9 in a single session.Next day the whole population of neighbourhood cats would have the smirk wiped off their faces and walking around like a used pair of roy rodgers saddlebags.

I was just commenting on the accuracy of when BLW balances is propellers if he also checked blade tracking to be dead on balls accurate. O myself balance down to the hub. Never thought about run out.
And besides who doesn't fly helicopters? It really helps my airplane flying especially with the use of the left stick.

What do you do when a prop is off track a little at idle but tracks true above idle, I personally let em be.

I owned two Dodges over the years, a slant six powered 68 long wheelbase van with double doors on both sides and a 71 Coronet wagon with an early small 318, both great vehicles. The surprise a few years later was 1973 Chevy Vega Kamback wagon with the two barrel 110 hp engine, it went just under 200,000 and only blew one little puff of smoke when hot started. I built my own 2.25" exhaust system for it with a Thrush Turbo muffler.

I have had one Ford (a 1974 Pinto station wagon), one Chrysler (a 1974 Gold Duster with the 318), and one Chevy (a 1984 Celebrity with the four cylinder). The only one I would have again is the Pinto. Since the Chevy, I have only had 2 Audi, 2 BMW, 2 Fiat, and 3 Toyota. Loved 'em all.

My favorite old truck was my 1964 International Harvester with the big block 345 V8, T98 transmission, and Positrac differential! It had been a wrecker when newly purchased and was back to being a regular pickup.

1964 International Harvester, AKA a Binder, you could hear the fan running for a mile or two. I owned two different Pintos, a 71 with the German 2000 cc, (100 hp)engine and a 73 with the 1600 cc, (70 hp) Kent engine.
Richard the Vega was all original, the only thing I ever did to it was replace the water pump and of course the belt. I ran Arco Graphite oil in it.

I had a friend that owned a 1973 Vega Hatchback, great little car. He only had one chronic problem with it. He liked to hot rod it and the steel ring in the cylinder head holding the spark plug on one cylinder kept blowing out. He considered putting a V8 in ithe Vega but the idea of needing to add a of adding a subframe talked him out of it. He built a hot rod Nova instead.

Those old Scouts sure could take a licking! I almost bought a 1973 International pickup to replce my 64 but my Dad talked me out of it. It was setup to run on gasoline or LP gas.
