OK O.F. you and The Pope play nice or will put you both in the corner in time out. :-))
The engine stand came and it beautiful. I showed it to the owner of the LHS and he thought the quality was first rate and was surprised Ron doesn't charge more. Shipping was only $13.00 but according to the label cost him $13.90. I the order on a Friday and shipped on Tuesday so his turn around is great. Here is what it looks like straight out of the box. Instructions are included with photos along with mounting hardware. He rates for .020 to 150cc engines. I don't expect to be able to afford anything using an engine as big as 150 cc so I'm set.

i do not think that anyone could answer that question with a logical explanation. Every engine, field, flying site, person, LHS,and club members are different. Everyone one on this foum has Heard it all, don't run cast run caster, 0% -30%. don't put your tank there put here, Mount the engine this way or that way. The truth is there is no right way to any of this hobby. If it works for you then that is the best way to do that.

Very best regards to you and yours.

My 56 was in a Sig Kavalier and hauled it around with authority. The Kavalier is handicapped by room for only an 8 oz tank, but I always got long flight times on that. It needs a new home now as the Kavalier is retired.

I never did a build thread on mine. I built the wing with only an inch of dihedrahl, bolt on mod, and made it a tail dragger. It flies with an OS 52 on it with 11x7.5 prop. I have max rudder and elevator throws on it, and plan to replace the ailerons with larger ones and possibly flaps. It doesn't need flaps, but if I can get the plane to stop in mid air with them, thats the goal.
As it flies now, its a little slow on the roll, even with full rudder, it can fly without ailerons at all. I can do ribbon loops, if it had smoke you would see what looks like those ribbons used for cancer things, and it flies well inverted. I just want some more snap to its snap roll. If I can get a little more power out of the 52 it can hover.
