This is it with it's original muffler, the cast one has a more mellow tone.

O/K, finally at the stage with the pylons on the 80" CL-415 where the engines will be fitted and wanted to ask if anyone found the best 3-blade prop for the pair of 65's intended to bolt up to this one.

The smallest app for these so far has been my 91's so would like the look to continue.

He's always complaining about the 1.25 so I said that. I didn't mean big engines.

Honda has never verified or denied persistent claims that my S2000 engine was hand built. There used to be an insider at Honda who would sneak in a post every once in a while with interesting intel on S2K International but he never touched that topic. But I think the claim still stands that all S2000 engines were hand built. Sales to the U.S. were always under 1000 a year. Mine is an 05 model and I think that year was just under 800 shipped here, so they didn't make many. Also, I think the S2000 was in only one TV commercial where the whole Honda lineup was driving around a curvy mountain road. The S2000 was the last car and visible for a few seconds.

Barry here's a pic of my bike and it's guard dog saito. He's pretty mild unless you wear sheepskin ugg boots or smell like synthetic oil.As far as bike engines go we had a trouble free run for years with the japanese brands, you knew you were getting good stuff.Lately thats changed a bit as major manufacturers shift there production overseas to cut costs on the smaller to mid sized motorcycles,i can't go in to details.

ps nice colour scheme on your bike dave
Pete, nice pics for sure. You finally have me liking an Eye-talian motorcycle. Nice looking bike! I learned to drive in a Alfa Romeo Guilia and there were always Fiats in the driveway for my dad to work on. I learned that Italian cars ran a close second to British cars for being high maintenance. That Guilia was more a family car back then but it was still red and had a 5 speed which was hot stuff for the late 1960's.

I don't know how they would look scale wise but 12x6 three blades would be the correct load on the .65's.

Here are my summary experiences with Fix It Again Toni cars. I had no issues with them...after rebuilding both engines, repairing all of the rust, and repainting. (I rebuilt the Bianchina's engine on the kitchen table 1 month after I got married. My Italian wife should have run away and not looked back, but after almost 50 years we are still together). The electrics including instruments were all good (NO Lucas). Enjoyed them and wish I still had them.

For those Saito fans (as I am) I have ended up with 4 .91SGK's that have never been taken out of the boxes. Check out the ad in classifieds if you are interested.

Did the centre section of the roof slide back like the old 2cv's? ok you got me i once owned two fiat 124's the early 1600 and the later 1800 which was painted baby poo brown, i mean who'd be stupid enough to buy another one.

Rich owning four matching gk's and not fitting them to a b17 or a lancaster is criminal

The only reason I don't use 3 bladed props much is the small choice in spinners. What would be best is to make spinner blanks for users to cut their own holes for props. Now, I prefer the plastic spinner types with aluminum backplates. Maybe Great Planes, I forget. I guess I could buy the 3 bladed spinners for the Evolution trainer engine and use those. The Evolution prop is a real dog though.

I had a buddy in the Army who had a Fiat 124. It was a nice looking one. Alfa Romeo is running commercials over here now for the Guillia. It sure looks different than the kind of little car I drove as a teenager.

Yes the cloth sunroof slid back in folds all the way to the back. Like a convertible with side rails. probably to keep the body from sagging with the doors open. (I had an MG Midget with rusted body that would sag with the doors open to where the doors would then not close. I had to leave the top down and go over the doors to get in and out.)

The Bertone/Fiat X 1/9 (small picture) had a targa roof of vinyl covered fiberglass that would come off and store in the front "trunk".

4 matched .91 Saitos...the project was a 14' WS B-24 Liberator project. Still in bones just don't have the required time.

Great planes make good quality plastic spinners with aly backplates never had one fail even on the 220.That alfa is crazy good looking,i still got my heart set on the first 1750 gtv, probably would'nt drive it much rather sit back in a lazyboy with a beer and look at it.

Richard i spent most of my working life in panel shops restoring old cars you would have been a brave young man to consider taking on any mg/jag and others when they are that far gone.Mind you.. did you know you can buy new re-production chevy camaro's with a big block plus v6 ford capri's and their insane ford escort rally cars with a cosworth 2 litre 200 or more horsepower..that thing sounds so good at full whack who cares whether it's running castor or not?

Pete, this 2004 Subaru Forrester will be our next car, the Mitsubishi has 218,000 on the clock and uses considerable oil. The Subaru only has 100,000, our daughter is giving it to us in a few weeks.

I have my old C&H ignited Saito .80 mounted on a 95" ws Telemaster, I'll get a picture on here soon. I am waiting for an additional Spektrum 6600 receiver.

Regarding spinners, Dave Brown Products will custom cut their spinners to your spec. I've had them do a couple, happy with the results.

Hi Dave, congratulations on your "new" car. Wear it well.

Are you off to the field to fly this spring day? It is to be 65 today here in the frozen north. Some are meeting at our field to fly off of the snow. I may take my K&B 40 powered Big Swamp Buggy to run on the snow.

G'Day OF. Here is a project that will satisfy all of your desires (of the 4 wheel kind): Alfa GTV6, at a "holding" yard in Northern VA, USA. May have been owned by a cousin of mine. Hard to tell, it did not look like this when he had it, but, just needs a little buffing to bring it back. Anyway, would you like for me to send it to you? Send lots of gold bars
Have a good day. It is 65 here, good flying weather. Hope the same for you there.
Sincerely, Richard

Dave i want one of those for a daily driver but one of the planes don't fit.Whats this green colour thing you got going kermit?

Richard as your self appointed new commercial patent lawyer i'm advising you to slap a quicky patent on the buffing machine in the shed plus it's a narrow angle v6 with what the eyetalians call a 'power bulge' (please let the pope struggle with a distant memory) in the middle of the bonnet, ugly as sin.

Pete, what is your daily driver, that picture is not the actual car we're getting, I think it is a dull blue color. At 214,000 miles my ole F150 still runs like the day I bought it. Quiet and smooth.

Over the years it has hauled more Saitos than any other brand except maybe Fox's.

Hows your power bulge going O.F. . Is that your big fat guts or whats hiding under your budgie smugglers a little further down ?

No worry about the bulge on that one's bonnet, there is no bonnet. BTW, is this pic like your bike when she is naked?

And like this dressed?
