Pete, I'll bet you remember these Desmodromic Valve Trains, my friend had one, (Ducati 200) and you could hear the valves and gears rattle for three counties. At the time I had a Harley 175 Pacer two stroke. every Harley I've owned has had quiet mufflers on it.

I rode a HD 165 2 stroke alot in the late fifties. I last saw one on display in a pizza shop in Fredericksburg, VA., maybe 20 years ago.

I actually lifted that comment from an old exotic sportscar mechanic I knew ages ago. The brand he was actually talking about was Maserati. He was constantly complaining about ordering parts only to discover Maserati would have to fabricate them on order and it would take months to get them. He recommed to several of his weather customers they buy two one to drive and the other to wait in the shop for parts.

Must be, the pic I posted was id'd as an Alfa Romero GTV 1750. Did not see a GTV4 yet, although it is beautiful from your pics. Like a GTV6 without the "bulge" ?

Did you see that security video of the surgeon that showed up for work and a Coyote followed him in the door of the clinic? He came back out of that door like a shot with the Coyote following close behind. Supposedly the Coyote see a squirrel and was distracted by it. I guess he decided Squirrels make better meals than doctors?
I remember back in my high school days my buddy Tom made his truck payments during fur season hunting Coyotes. The pelt would bring $40 to $50 and another $20 for the ears from the Rancher's association. Fur season was short so durring the rest of the year he had a real job.

On topic- you may find arguments over bearing or who to buy from. I suggest just buying bearings. Large parts stores have some sizes for models. I bought bearing for the OS 46fX in town.
Off topic- they migrated to Alabama some years back. I've seen them and heard them at night. I lived in the country with no neighbors except herds of turkey and deer. The coyotes wiped them out or scared them away quickly. We used to chase them across the prairie fields in Colorado in Army jeeps. People had outdoor pets that would disappear over night up there and in Kansas. They snacked on neighborhood pets mostly when it was winter. (I'm talking about the 4 legged animals in case any alert member may think I mean the human variety)

I think hawks are protected, I am not sure if small poodles are?
