Baked beans at 20 paces ! Although it sounds very tempting I'll pass thanks very much . The ol hipflask was the deal breaker for me . Plus ive heard about your deadly aim .

Hey Pete, no I mean just adjusting the mounting holes, to me, it doesn't seem to run any warmer than the glow Saitos. There is a .62 on the Cherokee 40 right now, I'll see how the FG 11 sits, maybe today. Now that I have the FG 11 running like a Swiss watch I'm going to put a few oz of fuel through it with the C&H Ignition. During the 2.5 hours+ I've run it so far the valve lash has only changed on the exhaust valve and that only about .0005".

Excuse me while I whip this out
I had to build up the FW on the T-Clips to make the FG-11 mount to work, it is shorter than the standard mount used.

Oh Boys, Looky I have here

Huh, things have changed; thanks for the pic. My newest Saito is a .82 that I got on an airplane. Haven't ever looked in the carb.

It's similar to what Super Tigre with their flat ended bar needle valve.

The 62 on that cherokee 40 should fly scale? and it would be good to see how the fg11 goes by comparison.I used an infra red temp gun a few times way back on the glow saitos but found it difficult to get an accurate read out, depends on where you point it i guess but the gas fg57 crankcase and rocker covers feel hotter on the old pinch test than any of my saito glow engines when they are cranked up.

ps charley i hope you run an intake tube on the 82.

My Cub flies scale, at 1/3rd throttle. It is so light it could probably fly on that 56 I have. The FG-11 will fly it scale like for sure.

Ok
heres a question for all you guys what is the big hubbub about using a FIJI water bottle for a gas tank.
The parts to make said bottle a gas tank is like $35 and I can buy 3 / 24 ounce Sullivan tanks for less
money. So guess its not about the money or size. So what gives?

Its only a concern to the 3D guys because they claim that the water bottle is lighter than the regular gas tank.

Dave, that metal on metal contact in your pic may cause problems when the engine is running.

Bad news O.F. and The Pope the Australian Department of the Environment and Engergy called they are getting a restraining order banning you two from beans. They are threatening to turn you two into the world court at the Haag for using weapons of mass destruction and biological weapons. They must think you two are a crime against humanity.

You can come here to out-gas. All EPA regulations are gonna be done away with. Bring your self-contained breathing apparatus (SCUBA) , and potable water cause there won't be any clean air or water. So much hydrocarbon in the air, could probably run the engines just on the "AIR" alone. BTW, I just read that the number of visas to exit the US to go to New Zealand is way up!

Yep, it went up from 1 to 2. Justice Ginsberg said she was moving elsewhere if Trump won, I guess she forgot.

That's on the PSP test stand, so no issues. There is ice hanging from all the tree limbs, it's very Christmassy looking out today. I'm burning a serious amount of wood today.

The FG 11 runs pretty much the same whether using the RCXL ignition or the C&H, the C&H will win the ride in the plane due to brand loyalty.

Saito users, is there any fact in the story I heard that Saito engines use more fuel than other engines of similar size? I have a Saito .91 in a Seawind with a 14 ounce tank. What can I expect for flight time? Running at cruise power, I will be happy with 7 to 8 minutes.
