If the burr is at the bottom of the bore, you could take a drill that is large enough to fit inside the housing and use it to chamfor the lip, by hand, then use some toothpaste on the lifter to polish it.

thanks for the idea, I thought of that, but I am worried the drill will leave an edge,,

the Burr is not really that big, it's just an edge left by the cutter, well I have an idea, I think Pete will like this, I will take a lollipop, taper the end of the stick, see> the stick is hard, but not hard enough to scratch the Boar, then I will add toothpaste, and twist the stick to remove the Burr,,

I have some Fine Lapping Past, I would like to use it, but they say once you use it on an engine part you can not get it all off

Dave you must have awfully awful bad luck buying apc props where you are.The one's i buy over here are bored true and track well at the tips.I put them on a large prop balancer and rarely have to touch them.Here's a pic of a new apc 14x6 pattern prop and also part of my prop collection.

Jim bruce has a good idea to solve your problem but it makes it easier if you post a couple of pics,otherwise it's like trying to suck a golf ball through 30 feet of garden hose,and that's a womens job.

Pete, that is true of the latest ones I've bought, a 13x6 and 12x6, that 14x6 is several years old. When viewed as yours is above the hole is not centered in the relieved circle on the front. I have lots of bushings. I will try to enlarge it on center. Nice pictures by the way.

Jim, a gentle touch with a jewelers file will fix the lifter bore very easily.

Thanks i like the pictures too the reason one side of the prop shaft hole looks sharper than the other is because the photo was taken at an angle and the light came in to the shed sideways.I'd be up to my ears in saito's ripping themselves out of engine mounts if all was not good,sometimes while they are airborne.Did i ever tell you about the time i was bench running a new saito fa115 and it was on the first tank,vibrating with fuel richness.I'd used self tappers in to a soft pine mount and as the engine pulled away from the mount the throttle went to max,i was hiding behind the lawn mower.

I know that feeling, I had a little .30 get loose, it hung in the air by the throttle rod and fuel line, it was swinging up and down like a side ways pendulum. When I pinched the fuel line it fell and busted the little 10x6 Zinger all to pieces.

APC props have been very good here. They locate well from the rear hole and the rear face, which is proper. The front hole is typically a clearance hole and not used as a primary locator. By following the instructions they track and balance very nicely.
Also a good prop from an efficiency standpoint. Hard to judge a prop peering at an off-axis photo, shadows and all.

I have read on RCU where guys have put the Saito 120 & 125 on the 4-Star-60's (span is 71"),, so how about putting the 100 on the new "Clipped Wing" 4-Star-64 (Span is 64")

I have the 4-Star-60, I will be clipping the wings, but as for this month, I am going to put my K&B 100 on it, next month I may change my mine LOL
BTW, if you didn't see my photos of my 4-Star it it being bashed do to a crash into an open cockpit racer,, love the the open cockpit mid & low wing planes,

I'm not so picky about prop brands provided the prop is wood. I like my fingers too much to use composites.

Dave i don't understand why you would do a prop test and lean the engine out for top rpm on any saito with a buggered rear bearing,i hope you replace both front and rear soon instead of holing a case.Interesting reading thanks.

Cap as you know i fly a 46 size deccy with an fa82 and at one time seriously considered fitting a saito fa125 to a small deccy for a bit of totally unlimited everything.There were a few pluses and minuses.With the saito 82 fitted the performance is awesome,nearly unlimited and no lead tail weights are required.With the extra power of the saito 125 comes weight i could not move back and structural considerations.How much lighter is you fa100 than the 125?

No danger to,the engine Pete, the bearing is just a little loose but still smooth. The bearings are ordered from Boca Bearings, I ordered a spray bar too, the cats eye in the existing one is not shaped,right and the needle turns very hard on it.
