RE: YS FZ63 S ?????? please help
Thanos,
Ignore any HP claims made by model engine manufacturers.
They are worthless numbers that mean nothing.
Do take at high value, RPM numbers of specific props, on a known fuel and with a known exhaust system.
Especially those the engine manufacturer pledges by; replacing any engine that is not up to par.
You can look into these sites:
http://www.yspower.co.jp/
http://www.ysperformance.com/
Due to their crankcase supercharging feature, YS engines make more HP than normal four-strokes of the same displacement.
So this .63FZ makes as much horse-power as a normal .80-.90 engine (Saito, TT, OS, clones...), spinning the same size props at nearly the same RPM, or more likely, slightly smaller props noticeably faster.
