Default Help on Cam Timing

Can anyone help me with the cam timing on an old (Guessing 1980-1985) Enya 60 four stroke?. This is the engine that has a straight exhaust manifold without a muffler. The cams have very small marks on them which I think are the timing marks. They are located right at the inner edge of the cam gear teeth.

Is the correct timing for these marks to be aligned to each other when the crank is at TDC?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bob

Bob, the little marks go right next to and centered on the crankshaft gear with the crank at TDC.
