Anyone know the difference between O.S. 7D and 7M carbs? I see .61 FSR's with either. Do they have the same bore?

The 7M is a three needle carb with the third needle adjusting the mid-range. If I recall, they both have the same bore.

The 7Ms mid range adjustment is very handy when a tuned pipe is used otherwise offers little advantage over a 7D. The 7Ds midrange is about the same as the 7Ms with its midrange adjustment at its leanest setting. Tuned pipes require a richer midrange than standard mufflers do.
