All these OS engines have the same bolt pattern for the muffler . . . . .
.10FP, .10FP-B, .10FP-BX, .10FP-S, .12CZ-1, .12CZ-2, .12CZ-R, .12CZ-Z, .15FP, .15FP-S,

Turn the muffler 90 degrees http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXCA87&P=Z

Extend the muffler out from the engine http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXCA84&P=Z

You can get a tuned pipe from MACS but they cost 2 or 3 times what your engine did

Plane Jim . . . .

You made a post right after this one but due to some work on the database of the system your post dropped by the wayside but I read it and you are welcome.

YEAH!

What was it we weren't forgetting?

Have you checked Mac's Products and Davis Diesel Development? Between the two you might find something for the little OS.

Plane Jim

Here is a picture of the OS 90 degree adapter in action. I did not notice any loss in power over the stock pipe.

Sandy T very nice installation. What plane is that. It was quite thoughtful of them to mark the Plane "front" where the engine goes (Just had to say that) Kiding aside is that a conversion from electric?? I am working on a Pulse 40 thats getting an OS46As do have a Pitts type muffler with the wide engine cowl it will look nice without the trainer upright
engine look, its a really
neat plane and straight up really ruins the looks martin

Dieseldan

It is a Fliton Rogue bipe. Since it comes with a LA-15 motor mount, I guess you can't say it is an actual conversion, but there aren't too many of us building them that way No real provision for a fuel tank is a PITA.

I have planes that have the engine in about every configuration, and I agree about the improved looks of a sideways mount. My everyday flyer is a Contender, though, and you can't beat the easy access when the engine is totally exposed and sticking straight up.
