35% giles
I would consider a zdz 80rv with the pitts muffler, it puts out 57lbs of thrust and weighs only ~4 1/2 lbs, I was going to use a Brison 5.8 and it was going to be too heavy on the nose, but you still could use that engine, plenty of power as well, later.

no, the way Lanier kits are built they are kinda heavy, but if you do some cutting on the wing cores and lighten the fuse a little its ok, the sachs 5.2 probably dont weigh as much as my 5.8 did, the true weight of the zdz80rv is 4.29 lbs but I think that is without the muffler and ignition, probably closer to 5 lbs with battery, ignition and muffler.. , you will be ok with the sachs if using four servos in the tail and keep the nose light with lightning holes in firewall and use a zn carbon spinner?, maybe this helps your decision, I wanted to use the brison but I got so many other opinions from other sources, I will see if the zdz truly lives up to the reputation it is getting now, later.
