engine loading up
my thundertiger pro46 seems to be loading up when reduced to throttle. then when advancing back to full throttle it boggs down and sometimes picks up after a min or it shuts off. is the mix to lean or rich? what could i do?

Your low speed needle is too rich, try turning it in 1/8 turn and retry until you get real good throttle up response and transition, should idle better also. Be sure to remember to reset the high speed needle afterwards, otherwise you will have more problems.

Yep, I agree, its probably too rich on the low end needle. Don't be afraid to experiment with your engine. Next time it loads up, pinch the fuel line going to the carb and see what happens. If it immediately clears up and speeds up it meant you were too rich, if it died immediately, it meant your engine was too lean and was spooling up too slowly.
