getting drive washer back on saito 91
G'day im in the process of replacing the bearings in my saito 91 and have a question.What is the best way to mget the drive washer back on?being a taper should i just use the vise to press it back on? Your help would be great thanks[]

Thanks for the help fellas will do that.Do you think that sealed front bearings are better than shielded?

G'day Mate,
I generally use stainless bearings, & they come with shields, but I don't think it makes a difference, on the front bearing, & the shields or seals should be removed on the rear bearings anyway.

It depends on what you want. OS now uses sealed bearings front and rear in the FS. Don't use a sealed rear bearing unless the engine is designed for it, the cam housing might run dry if you do. The sealed front bearing reduces the wet nose syndrome.
