Default Saito FA-62 Anyone Using?

Is anyone running the new Saito 62-FA motor, and if so, what is the 411?

PA, I have two Saito .62s, one is completely broken in the other is broken in but have not done a power run yet, they are going on a Hangar 9 Dual Ace. I can say that they are very smooth and user friendly, neither every offered to quit during the break in, even when running very rich they ran without glow power. These numbers taken after 40 minutes on WildCat 15% fuel and a Bolly 12.5x6 prop.

Hobbsy-

I just bought one of these for my Smith Miniplane; looks to be another good Saito.

...but..., is that 1800 RPM idle clean? Reliable / consistant? wow... [8D]

Yes sir, it will sit there forever like that and you can whack the throttle lever about a 1/4 inch and it just accelerates to about 5,500. The .62s are both eerily smooth.

Nice! I love Saitos...[sm=punching.gif]

(And thanks for the fast reply, too!) What fuel was used for those numbers?

Geez, you're too fast.

Thanks for the info; I'll be using Cool Power 15% synthetic. Can't wait to "fire it up"!
