hello!
I was thinking about 4 stoke cases. we always try ro reach no air leakes in intake manifolds and in carbs. but now just thin. valve cowers on 4 stoke engine heads are not hermetic, there are no gaskets and it causes airleak. this air goes in cranckcase and then from brathing nipple goes in to the carb.
what do u think about ti? maby it's high time to make washer for valve covers?

You could run the engine without valvecover and it would still run fine. I don`t know, but maybe what you suggest is the solution of a problem that just don`t exist, as most fourstrokes run just great as is

Y-S four strokes must have a sealed valve cover or they will not run.

The other four stroke engines are as Asmund said, they will run fine with the valve cover removed.
