    Enya 40 X, MODEL # 6101 no compression

I've got an Enya 40 X , Model 6101. It has almost no compression. Is this normal. The engine looks old. When were these made ? Is it possible to get a new piston and sleeve. Is it cost effective/ worth it? How much approximately for that? What are the specs for this engine.

    Enya 40 X, MODEL # 6101 no compression

Yes, you can still get parts for this engine. I believe that this is a ringed engine though. You should be able to replace the ring and get most of the compression back, as long as the piston and sleeve are not scored. The piston should cost you around $15. Otherwise, it is really not cost effective to replace all the other parts. You can almost buy a brand new engine for the cost of those parts. As far as the specs go, Enya lists the hp rating at 1.2, with a max rpm of 16,000. If you would like to know anything else, please let me know.
