RE: 4-stroke engine
Ok, one more thing (I've probably said that like 20 times now) if I pull out the crank or cam, how do I put either one back in where the engine will still run? I know if the cam don't open and close the valves at the right time the engine will not run, so how do I know how to put the cam or crank in right?

Since the topic comes up weekly it's surprising search didn't turn it up.

RE: 4-stroke engine
you mean like this?
The timing must be reset if the crankshaft and/or cam gear has been
disassembled. To reset the timing, rotate the crankshaft until the piston is
at top-dead center. (Verify this by looking through the glow plug hole.)
With the piston at top-dead center, install the cam gear with the small
punch mark facing toward you and pointing straight down toward the bottom
of the crankcase. Reinstall the cam gear cover and tighten the screws.

That's a Saito as the thread, surely the thread specified that.
Try this one instead.

Ok I know this is a dumb question, but how do you remove the drive washer?
and it looks like the front bearing is leaking aswell.

The drive washer just slides off. There is a key in the shaft. Some leakage at the front bearing is normal in a four stroke.

The hub is just stuck with dried castor oil or dirt.
Use a puller to get it off?
The clamp looking device is called a bearing separator. You should find it at the same automotive shop where you found the gear puller in the previous picture?
Clamp the hub with the bearing separator and then the gear puller on the bearing separator.
To take your Monokote gun and apply a little heat to the hub while you are pulling on it?
Don't loose the key if it has one?

RE: 4-stroke engine
I'm trying to remove the sleeve, I got it out 35mm but can't get it out any more. I've been heating it up to about 140F and still can't get it out.
ant help on getting it the rest of the way would be great.

The sleeve will come out if you heat it up a little more. It usually comes out at over 100°F but some are a bit tighter. Then, follow the instructions to remove the rest.

RE: 4-stroke engine
Sorry to bring up an old thread, but heres for those of you that said a plane engine would fit in a truggy, well they where wrong. heres some pictures, I had to do a little tweaking to the mounts, and hopefuly get a video of it soon.
not too bad for a 14 year old. I did most of the tweaking of the mounts with files, so alot of hand work went into this.
LMK what ya'll think.
