Nelson 4-stroke mufflers
Can anyone give me any feedback on putting a nelson muffler on a saito 1.00? One reason is to be able to position the muffler better with the elbows. Are there any other reasons to use one?
The application would be for a TF Sea Fury. I currently have a Magnum .91 for this plane that is still NIB. I have been flying the Saito for about 3 years and it is super reliable. The only time the engine quit in the air was when I ran it out of fuel. I feel more comfortable putting this engine on the SF.
Thanks
Doug

RE: Nelson 4-stroke mufflers
Four strokes are not very sensitive to the muffler that they are using.
People don't often vary from the original type mufflers because four stroke mufflers are usually smaller and easy to accomodate.
I've never hear anything bad about the Nelson mufflers
