Default Cold Shouldered Super Tiger??

Why are the super tiger engiens cold shouldered? I have the 50, 61ABC, 90, 2300 and all are cold shouldered after cranking up. I run 15% nitro fuela and all engines run fine after they warm up for about 15-30 seconds depending on the temperature. I notice the problem more in cold weather than in warm as to be expected.

Two strokes do run different in the winter. You wil also find that the needle will need to be a little richer from peak rpm than in the summer to prevent flame outs.

Are you running a OS 3 plug? They are a little hotter

w8ye, I have notice the same thing, the needles need to be a little richer to give a good transition or flame out. I use the Tower plug because of cheaper price. I would imagine the carb and porting result in a little more sensitve run from cold to warm condition.

I run mine up for about a half tank, then refuel and dial it in again and its fine. If you tune it up when its cold, going to change when the engine warms up.
