Default Enya Experts, I Need Some Help.

OK, I know there are some real Enya gurus out there. I have an Enya .15 that I would like some dating on. It is a model 3304 and on the other side of the crankcase it says it is a 15 IV. I don't have a SN or anything but I know that different model #'s came out at different time periods. Does anyone have a ballpark on the age of this engine. It looks fairly old but that doesn't mean anything.

Thanks,
Brian

I have a couple of them that I bought new in '76 or '77...think the design was at least a few years old by then so, somewhere around there.

The nearest I've been able to find is that the 15-III (model 3303) was made from September 66-67 so presumably the IV was first made in 67 but I don't have a year for the 15-V to give a cut off date.

I was thinking early eighties so maybe this thing is older than I thought. I am going to use it on a vintage design so I wanted something somewhat "period". Sounds like this engine might be right on.

Thanks,
Brian

I guess you could always email Ken Enya: info "at" enya-engine.com

[Did you sell the Brio 10?]

Dave, yup the Brio sold. I kept the guts to use in another plane and sold just the airframe.
