RE: OS LA .46 w/ APC funfly prop ???
Francis, we did this a while ago as an experiment and from memory we got somewhere around 10,500 rpm. A ball bearinged .46 will usually do in the mid to high elevens on average.
Even though the rpm levels weren't great, take off thrust was pretty good (quite noticeable better than the 10 x 6 it was originally running) and the engine ran happily with this load with no overheating or any other concerns. It worked fine on the trainer it was mounted on.
