Moki 135 or OS 160.......
Anybody know which has the most power? Which one uses less fuel? Your opinion is valued greatly.
Thanks,
Shawn Stickney / Atlanta

I own the Moki 1.35 and while being no whimp... it certainly isn't as powerfull as an OS 1.60 Fx!
Again, without any questions the larger engine will use more fuel. It isn't rocket science.

I use a 20oz tank with that size of engine (Moki), anything bigger isn't worth the extra weight.
Flying time depends on your use of throttle...
could be less than 10mins, could be more than 15mins. If you find that you're having to use full chat most of the time to fly the aeroplane, you're under powered.

160! It's a no brainer. My 160 has as much power as my Moki 1.8. I haven't seen anyone else's Moki numbers any better either. 20 oz is enough for a full throttle run of more than 10 min. I use a 16 oz tank on an aerobatic 3D model and it's plenty.

Most OS160 I have seen flown have been overpropped - pinging, detonation. I doubt it would compete with a Moki 180 though. I have several 135, and they really haul with a Bolly 16x10. I run the M180 with a Bolly 20x10, and a M210 with a 21x10, and they go very well, all with zero nitro. I see some guys run the OS160 with a 16x8 !!

Moki's run very well on "0" nitro fuel (and an OS "F" plug) which you can easily mix yourself for a fuel cost savings. They are also a very reliable once broken in. I have several and like them all.'
