DO YOU KNOW THIS MOTOR MOUNT????
Just curious if anyone remembers this motor mount. Several years ago I asked my LHS about it and was told what brand it was(which I now don't remember) and that the motor mount was no longer made. It has been used with an OS 61, Rossi 61 and now a YS 61AR. Just curious if I could confirm that it is no longer available. If anyone knows a source for one, that would be great. Who knows, maybe one of you have one that you don't need.

With the number "60L" makes me think of Hayes but their current long 60 looks different

RE: DO YOU KNOW THIS MOTOR MOUNT????
I haved a new condition 60 mount from the same company. It was in my Great Planes Trainer 60 kit from 1983. They had put two of them in the kit for some reason. At the top of the inside, it reads:
BHE 10CC
60
Patent Pending.
I believe BHE was the maker?

Correction. I believe that BHE was the old Great planes labeling system for their own brand of motor mounts. no longer available in that style.

The current Great Planes mount looks a lot like the one you have but it is two piece and adjustable in width. they are nice mounts

RE: DO YOU KNOW THIS MOTOR MOUNT????
I bet that is an old BHE motor mount, it looks like some 40 size BHE mounts I have. BHE was not Great Planes, the BHE stood for Bridi Hobby Enterprises. It looks like the current Great Planes have the same hole layout. Before Great Planes/Hobbico bought everyone else they probably got their mounts from Bridi

I have that same motor mount! It came in a GP cherokee .40 kit from 16 years oago or so! I'm also looking for a replacement or else I will have to re-do the hole layout in my firewall.

RE: DO YOU KNOW THIS MOTOR MOUNT????
Check that link from w8ye. This came up before and it seems the adjustble mounts match the firewall pattern of the BHE mounts. BHE(Bridi Hobby Enterprises) mounts came in Bridi kits of course and other kit makers like Great Planes used them too. And I know having to redo a firewall motor mount on a built plane is a real pain.

RE: DO YOU KNOW THIS MOTOR MOUNT????
The motor mount that started this thread is 1 5/8" side-to-side and top-to-bottom hole centers. The bulkhead would have to be redrilled if I remember the hole center data for w8ye's referenced mount correctly.
