Default Thunder Tiger engines

What's the experience with this company?

http://www.thundertiger4u.com/index.php

Ordering from a company online that doesn't provide a telephone # or address always makes me nervous. So I have never done it. But I need TT40 parts.

Go to: AceHobby.com Contact their customer service for info. They distribute Thunder Tiger engines and are a fantastic company with great service and terrific engines. I have several and have used them for years. Good luck.

I have dealt with them and agree they are good and they are practically in town for me. But they will not sell direct even parts that no hobby shop has. I don't like sending an engine to them for a 5 dollar part and a 25 dollar service charge or to get a new muffler.

I don't know about dealing with them directly, but I"ve purchased 3 of their TTpro .40's from local hobby stores, and they are great engines for the money for sure.

Yep,
Q500, Club 40 and just goofin around. I would put my TT.40 up against a .46FX any day.
I really need to pick a few more of them up. Either that or go Nelson and start racing 428 and Q40. I'm just not ready to drop the dime on one engine when I can buy 4 others with the same money.

We've had great turnout here with 424 only races, and we've been having lots of fun. I have a couple of older (SS) nelsons, but the turnouts around here for 428 are quite a bit lower, you have to travel more. I'm not going to get rid of my TTpro's!

Wonderful motors. 424 is what I use my six for also. But lets not HIJACK my thread. I want to know about

http://www.thundertiger4u.com/index.php

Because I need parts. Idle needle, throttle arm and muffler. Local hobby shops can't get the parts. Back order forever. I can send the motors to Ace and they will happily install the parts and charge me a 27 dollar service plus the parts plus shipping and handling.

Denis,
You might want to title the thread, "Wanted - TT.40" parts and ask the same question. I would post it in the general racing thread, who knows with enough guys racing 424 and C-40 you could pick up a spent engine and get the parts you want.
