Default Need A Home for my OS 1.20 AX...

Can you folks recommend an aircraft for my OS 1.20 AX? I tried to install it into an AW 1.20 Yak 54 but could not work out the extreme "CG" issue (tail heavy). I am installing an OS 1.60 FX in that plane.

I am looking for a plane with the same quality level as with my Aeroworks plane, one that would not be under powered by the OS 1.20 AX. Not a Bipe, though because I am not a good enough pilot to control one of those beasts.

Thank you for your help!

A friend flew a 120AX for two years in a Great Planes U-Can-Do with a APC 17-4, I thought it was a good match

Great Planes Venus II. A fun plane to fly, gobs of power with the 120AX. Don't know about 'Aeroworks quality', but definitely not bad. I love my Venus/120AX and wouldn't trade it for anything.

If you are into 3d fun fly type planes take a look at a Hanger 9 Frenzy, would be a good combo with the 120ax.

I am working on one of these right now. Got any build tips, advice?

Smacka,

The Aeroworks YAK 54 90-120 and OS 120AX is a nice combo. I had that setup and there was no issues with the CG at all. I have just finished my GP Venus II with the OS 120AX. Very nice plane as long as the Monokote stays down . I also had the Wild Hare Extra 260 running the OS 120AX. It was just about the same size plane as the AW YAK 54.
