Default Saito FA-80 Hemi-Head

Hi All,

I have a Saito FA-80 Hemi-Head that's never been run. I'm thinking of matching it up with a Sig Skybolt bilplane kit. The Skybolt is a 30+ year-old design. The box only lists a .60 2-cycle as an engine option, being that larger 4-cycle engine were not on the scene yet. Anyone familiar with this Saito, and would it be a close match to a .60 2-cycle?

Thanks in advance,

EJWash

Yes, you should be okay there, the saito 80 would be the equal of a powerful .60.

I think the Saito should only affect your balance. A four cycle in a biplane is what God intended.
