Why don't you try the engine and see how it runs?

I have a FF-320 and my own design of onboard driver. After the engine starts I turn it off and this engine has never dropped a plug. I can't say the same about my Saito 450.

Heres my problem, the motor will be on an airboat. All my cables are ran below deck which is rivited on. Once its done I can't access it anymore. I think even if I dont need it I will still use one. I need it to start the motor anyhow.
Here is some pics of the motor and boat.

you are going to have a lot of afterthought about those rivets when you have some trouble.

Well, that's one cool build. You obviously have a lot of knowledge and expertise in the air boat arena, but I simply have to ask. Why would you want to rivet the deck on so you can't access the electronics? The time will come that you will need to have access to the things there. It could be as soon as your first run.

I have an accessable hatch that houses all the eletronics, wiring will be below the back, but I might shy away from that. Look over the build thread again and you will see the middle of the boat can be opened. Thanks
