Default Magnum 180

Debating a new project this fall and wanted a Saito 180 but the price is just too much and started to wonder how the Magnum 180 compaired (please no chinese engine bashing) I more would like to know how it compairs powerwise and what props they swing. I have a Saito 150 already but it has a plane to fly and another awaiting for it, So if you have expierience with the two I would love to hear from you.

I have a magnum 180 4 stroke on my Big Bingo.  It hauls it around with authority.  I use a 16/8 prop and the engine seems to like it.  I can't compare it to a saito as I don't own one.  I do, however, own about 6 or 7 magnum 4 strokes and never had a problem with any of them.  52, 70, 91, 180.  All run great.  Good transition, good power and easy starting.

It is a great engine. Mine turns MenzS 18-6 at 9000 rpm and it runs fine on everything from 0-30% nitro.  Get one, you`ll like it
