On race nights you can get it at the local drag strips. The ones most local to me are:
Texas Motorplex, Ennis TX
Texas Raceway, Kennedale TX
Redline Raceway, Caddo Mills TX

You can probably get it from vendors at the dirt ovals like the Devil's Bowl in Mesquite.

The guy who owns Redline also owns Performance Auto Supply, in Mesquite TX and they sell race gas and methanol at the store. I'm sure the fuel vendors at the other tracks have locations where they handle sales when the track is not open.

When I was a young adult in the 60's I worked for Valvoline marketing and you could get it in 55 gal barrels then and pick it up at any Ashland distribution terminal. I bought a 5 gal container of methnaol and mixed up some FAI type fuel but thought it ran a little ragged compared with Sig fuel. I didn't know about putting some acetone in with it.

Yeh, the tractor pullers use it as well as the dragsters. It is also used in making biofuels (diesel)

Almost all sprint cars also run methanol, check you local dirt tracks, a couple of my friends run sprint cars and they always have a 55 gal drum in their garage.
