Chief Aircraft is good to. The .63 is being replaced by the 70.

Hobby Barn in Tucson (www.hobbybarn.com) will match Central Hobbies $ for $ on YS engines.

Cheers,

All of mine come from Central Hobbies. Cheif is allways more expensive than Centrall.

Are they really as great as their reputation? A friend of mine's father passed away recently and left him a YS140 Dingo? and I am trying to help him sell it. I think they retail over $600. Love to have it for myself.

When they are running right, yes. I have been loving my YS since I started using it a few months ago. Right now it is down for service and if I don't figure out what's wrong and fix it before this weekend, I have to fly a plane other than my competition plane at a pattern meet. It can get frustrating, however I would buy another one before buying anything else. Like I said, when they are running right...

The Dingo needs fuel with low viscosity oil and I heard is not one of YS' greatest creations. Most of YS have a pressurized fuel system, but the DZ instead has a pump, as well as a different injection system.

I bought my engine from HobbyBarn, but Central has all the parts and a great staff to help you with stuff, as well as a larger selection.

Central just listed the 1.15 due in pretty soon, replacing the 1.10. That will be a dynamite engine.

Unless my life makes some serious changes in a positive direction I will never be able to afford it. But it sounds really cool. What the heck would I ever put it in? That is a serious monster engine in my book. A BIG engine to me is a .65

This isn't always true and you can waste money if you don't shop and compare for YS and other brands.

The 170DZ is $5 cheaper at Central. The Central price includes shipping.

The 140 Sport is $19.99 at Chief, but the Central price includes shipping. You would have to know Chief's shipping costs to know the real difference.

I have been looking around in most shop I know for 2 weeks, included eBay, with no succes. On eBay, the "dude" ask 260GBP (+/- $427)... .

Should I understand there is no more FZ-63 in US till the 70 comes?

Anyway, thanks for your help blw.

JYM.
