Default OS 75 AX pitts muffler

Does anyone have evpierence using the Bisson OS 61 Pitts muffler on a OS 75 AX? Bisson list a different model for the 75 but in the case of Slimline they list the same Pitts muffler for both the OS 61 and 75.

Default RE: OS 75 AX pitts muffler

I tried it on the test stand once and got 10,300rpm with an APC 14x6.

I was surprised because it was actually 300rpm better than the standard muffler and i can tell you that it was very loud.

I didn't fly with it so i have no idea how the .61 sized muffler will effect the engine and tank pressure.

Sorry to necropost to this thread, but for anyone wondering, the Bisson muffler that suits the OS 75 AX is only a exhaust redirector.
We acoustically tested it at my flying field with a hand held digital measuring device and at the exhaust size at 7.5m we got readings of 97db. This is above the allowable limit of 93db at our field.
There are no baffles inside other than at the throat. If you need quiet, this is not the muffler for you.
