Can someone tell me the weight. MACS website sez they weigh 1/2 of stock, but I need the exact weight.

Thanks

They are very light weight. Weigh your stock muffler?

They do not make more power than your stock muffler

Their main good points are being one piece and light weight

They don't come apart either and the smoke trail is more confined which can lead to a cleaner fuselage. Like w8ye already stated, I haven't seen more than stock power.

Weight is my number one reason. Wow, 1.9 without the screws ! That'll save me over 2 ounces over the stock. If you don't mind, where did you buy ? Tower still doesn't have it yet.

>>> I weighed one and it was 1.9 oz without the screws >>>

Hi Jim, was that the new one for the 55 or one for a .46 that you weighed? They have the same bolt pattern don't they? Did they just add a bit more volume to the new 55 one?

Also, the smoke and oil trail is more confined, but there's no way to angle it away from the plane, so I'm wondering how in the heck it could run any cleaner?

Thanks,

Ernie
