info wanted...mini pipe
I got this mini pipe at a swap meet yesterday in San Antonio TX. The total length with header is 15 inches. My guess is that this thing is intended for a 60 size engine. The straight piece on the outlet side threads into a brass insert pressed into the mini-pipe. The location of the pressure fitting is in the straight section of the header. I can tell the header is not a Macs header.
Before you ask why I bought this let me tell you. It was bundled with a NIB MVVS 40 size mini pipe that I needed. For $15 I got both.
If you know anything about this thing please let me know.
Thanks,
Pete

The header is MVVS for sure, but the pipe I don`t know. Maybe it is an older MVVS, it sure looks similar to these days MVVS mini pipes

It looks like it might be a "Magic Muffler"?
A few yrs. ago I bought a box of K&B 6.5 stuff from a guy on epay...there was one of those things in there and that's what he called it.
The stinger on mine is threaded and adjustable for length.
Edit: Mine doesn't have a header though...it just slips over the O-ring on the rear exh. header adapter typical of the K&B 6.5

The so called "muffler" looks like a Mousse can pipe.....most of us "profile" guys have made and or use them on our 2strokes for electric like throttle response and better midrange power. Not to mention, they are usually lighter than the stock muffler. Of the ones I have made coupled with a Mac's header, I usually get 1,000+ to 2,00+ increase in rpm!!!!
