Where should I purchase a remote needle?
I need to purchase some remote needle valves for an O.S. 25 FX. Tower hobbies number LXEHJ7, for a GMS will work good. Problem is their back orderd until early July. Is there another place I can order these from, or is there an alternative?

The needlevalve assembly is part #9255 and is $15.95. But call them and ask to be sure.

I find this interesting: Every k&b listed on that site from the .18 to the 1.0 takes the same needle valve assy. Do you think I could order a remote needle valve assy for a .46 and have it work on a .25? The only reason I ask is they're $5.00 cheaper at tower, and I'm placeing an order anyway.

I just found the Fox universal needle valve assy, looks like it will work good with the O.S. remote needle valve mount. I think I'll take ZB50's advice and order one, or six. There only $11.99 ea.

Ick:
Purchase as you please, but the K&B remote needle assembly is fully sealed against any air leakage. Not only is there an o-ring on the needle itself, but the compression on the o-ring can be varied to get just the feel you want, stiffer or softer, or to compensate for wear.
It is worth the extra $4 or so.
Bill.

The Fox unit is also fully sealed with an unusual plastic seal, looks like it may be teflon. It is just large enough to get a Fox Stunt .35 running at a full four stroke so it may or may not work on a .46 with a pressurized tank, but should work just fine on your .25.

The MDS remote needles do not leak when exposed to crankcase pressure while using a Cline regulator and are capable of flowing enough fuel for the MDS 2.18.
