.91 os engine rebuild ducted fan /helicopter engine parts

I just want to find out from someone that knows more than me I have a .91 O.S. ducted fan engine can I use the .91 helicopter engine liner ,piston etc.. to rebuild it just asking because of parts availability please help

No you cannot. Helicopter engines are typically ringed and those engines cannot handle the RPM. You either find the correct parts or get a new engine. I’d suggest a Novarossi. They make stellar engines and parts are easily available; true chrome too.

another thing, the Heli engine has side exhaust and your engine "should" have rear exhaust

That wouldn’t matter. The port layout will be the same in the liner within in a rear exhaust or side exhaust layout. The only difference is the liner would be turned 90 degrees for a rear exhaust configuration.
