O.s. .10fsr
I have an O.S. .10FRS engine that needs new screws for the rear cover. The part number for the screw set from O.S. is #21113000, but I have not been able to find anything online.
Therefore, since original replacement parts are no longer available for this "long ago" discontinued engine, does anyone know the actual size of the screws used to attach the rear cover? Thanks, Mike |

Here is one of the suggested sizes: https://www.microfasteners.com/scm26...ric-alloy.html
This LA 10 package may have what you need also: https://www.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXXF24&P=7 |
Thanks. I have determined they are M2.5x6mm. They mic out at .098-.099". The 2.6mm screws mic out at .103".

Yes, I think they used regular M2.5 threads on both the FSR and FP (I can check if needed). I have replaced several of them with regular M2.5 hex screws. The head screws are usually pretty worn on second hand engines. With hex screws there are no more JIS problems and torn screw-heads....

Thanks Mr. Cox for your comments. The small Phillips head screws on the little engines are almost impossible to undue with the tiny screw drivers required to fit them!

That's why they are reborn as Socket Head screws as soon as they pass through my front door.
