Altech Marketing can provide you with any info you desire. I have several Enya engines and they are great running engines. Try posting in the MFG direct support forum under Enya Engines. They supplied me with info I needed on a R120.

Enya 60X .60

I've got one that's years and years old. Magnificent engine!! I can't help too much with details other than it's a true AAC (not ABC). Mine ran perfectly on straight FAI fuel (the genuine 20% castor type :) ).

The only specs I've still got (had a hard disc crash) is that the standard compression is 9.75:1 with a .036" squish clearance. I now run it at 13.5:1 (on FAI fuel) where it's the equal to their 80X.

Buy it, you'll love it and never look at an OS again :D

I,m having trouble with my 60x. Mostly because i dond understand all the carb adjustments. Mabye someone here could help me. the problem seems to come when the engine is cowled and run through a fueling valve. When it direct to the tank it seems to run fine. Ive tryed a perry pump but it did not help any. Any advice?? Manuals?? Thank's in advance

I have an Enya 60 X rear intake front exhaust marine motor. There are probably not 50 in the usa!! It is a magnificant , smooth, superior made AAC motor. The carb is the 3 adjustment type. I have an owners sheet on it and all the specs on the 3 or 4 Xs made. If you can be specific which one you have I can give you the specs. I also have instructions on the carb setting but there again there ar 2 or 3 different carbs that are used on the motor.

Here goes:

60xf-4 g8 wt 520gms, 1.3-1.6hp/16000rpm RINGED MOTOR
60xf-4 wt 540 gme, 1.4-1.7hp/16000rpm Ringed MOtor.
60xf-4AAC wt 510gms, 1.5-1.8hp/17000rpm AAC motor
GP60xf-4 AAC wt 550gms, 1.5-1.8hp/17000rpm AAC MOtor
GP60xlf-4 AAC wt 565gms, 1.5-1.9hp/17000rpm AAC motor

60xLRV-4 Marine, wt 600gms, 2.0-2.2hp/20000 rpms. AAC Motor

There is a helo line too but you said it is an aero motor.

Here are the carbs that are offered"
G-8
Gm9rc
GP 11
GM10sb or tn type
GM10GPH
GM10PB
I think the GM series are the 3 adjustment type as mine has the GM10PB on it.

Anyway hope this helps. Call ALltech and have them send you an engine brochure on this series. 732 225-6144 or use 2100 in place of the 6144 if it doesn't work. ;)

I have a NIB Enya 60x with all the paper work. Shoot me a e-mail. Mine is a 60xf4 and lists all the other engines on the paper work.

go to [link]http://www.macspro.com/tuning.asp[/link] for some test info on the .60XL.
with open exhaust only the YS is stronger and with a pipe it still comes very close to the top runners.
either way it beats the OS engines of the day and these are considered by many to be superior to the current OS.

and i truly believe that enya's AAC cylinder/piston sets are far superior to anything on the market today.

I'm really not sure which i have or how to tell. all i know is that it is a 60x with the midrange adjustment lever. I've been told it is
aac. These suckers sure do have some compression don't they?? Also any advice on prop selection it's in a .60 sized p-40?

11X7 or 11x7.75 will work great. Sometimes they stamp a I,II,III on one of the mounting lugs.

I just purchased an Enya 80 X and it is stamped the same as my 60 X.. 7101... how are they different and is the 80 X much more powerful? I have the three adjustment carburator on both (with the slide lever mid range...) Thanks..

RE: Enya 60X .60

I've got both engines and love them :)
The 80X uses the same crankcase as the 60X (so they're both a model 7101) and the only external difference is that the cast in 60 is machined off and 80 stamped in its place. The major difference is that the 60 is AAC while the 80 is ringed. Both engines perform flawlessly on zero nitro fuel (for what it's worth :D ).

RE: Enya 60X .60

I ran the 80 X yesterday for the first time.... 12 X 6 prop... the engine started first time and ran rich... I had to adjust the mid range all the way to lean (full right) and then it screamed and transitioned well... Question: The 80 X has good compression when hand cranked but has little compression when turning the prop clockwise.. This was noticed after being run and the engine was hot... Running on 10 % nitro....
