RE: Lets Do An Escapement Model!!
Bob,
Thanks for the photo, very fine plane indeed! The Page Boy has similar lines to the Top Flight School Boy which was a blast to fly!
Against Murphy's Law, I happen to have the exact pulse radio setup you mentioned!
Wishing you a Merry Christmas!

Yep, Ken liked the swepted tail. The theory was the swepted rudder gave a little down force push when used. Like a little elevator!! Look at the Page Boy, School Boy, School Girl, School Master, Headmaster. All had the same design tail!!!!
Put a couple of coats of clear dope on with light sanding between coats, Added some tissue trim. I will put one light coat of KlassKote clear to finish her up. The KlassKpte seems the same as the old K&B Epoxy. After drying 35% nitro does not effect it.

Stumbled across this thread a bit late, but very interesting!
You button-pushers might enjoy a little site done by me & pal Shaun: [link]http://www.singlechannel.co.uk[/link]
Lots of bonner escapement pics, demo rigs, data & instruction sheets... and the 2.4g S/C project...
I'd appreciate any comments as its growing all the time, we have loads more to add when time permits!
Cheers
Phil

Guys BTW if you look at Jayman's little receiver its the one he has been producing for the older transmitters. If configured correctly it will work on single channel pulse and escapement and galloping ghost with an and on switcher. If you have an old 27 MHz transmitter and want to try your hand at this older stuff get up with Jay. You will not be disappointed!!

PS: Jay I may used one of those receivers with this little gem!!!
