Nosen Mr. Muligan motor choice?
I just aquired a Nosen Mr. Muligan, and I don't have a clue as to what motor to use. I plan on flying it scale regardless of what motor I use.
It is very light and has no flaps. It is monokote covered and has bellcranks for an aileron connection. I will obviously change that out.
I don't plan to compete with it, I just want to fly the well out of it. I don't know what motor was in the plane.
The distance from the firewall to the lip of the cowl is 5-3/4 inches.
The cowl is about 12"inches wide.
It looks like it is built well and strong. Wheel pants don't have any scuff at all.
It has to be a gasoline engine...
I have a Zenoah G-62 I am not using at the time.
I have a DA-50 available.
I also have a Fuji 50 EI with an electric start on it, just collecting dust.
I have a Brison 3.2 brand new.
I also have a couple of 40cc ei motors on the work bench too.
Other than these choices, do you guys have any input as to what gas motor you would use on this plane? Any photo's or stories about how they flew with what particular motor would help me on this.
Thanx for your input.

RE: Nosen Mr. Muligan motor choice?
I've seen the Nosen Mulligan fly exceedingly well on a G-62.
I also have seen one powered by a G-38. It flew, but that was about it.
