Default Looking for a panel meter

Hey Guys,

I'm working on an old DigiTrio rig and I need a panel meter. The original was a 1mA meter and was made by Ace. (Their part number 22B3.) Unfortunately, I have not been able to locate Ace meters on the internet, and neither DigiKey nor Mouser carries the brand or anything similar. I suppose linear panel meters just aren't as popular as they used to be. However, I have discovered that some Orbit transmitters used the same, or similar, meter. (See the picture.)

Does anybody know of a stash of Orbit parts somewhere, or have an Orbit rig that they're parting out?

Thanks,

Harvey

Many thanks to John Buckner for the picture!

I believe Kraft Xmitters used the same meter. There are thousands of junk krafts out there. I will see if I have a transmitter left that I can salvage a meter for you

Thanks S Gib, I checked eBay last night with that very thought in mind but I didn't see any prospective parts donor transmitters since those up for bid were being sold complete with receivers and servos. (Which I don't want to pay extra for.)

Do you still need the rectangular meter?

I have one that I think came off an old Futaba.
If you are still looking, PM me your e mail.
You can have this free.

Anyone looking for old sticks? Free.
I'll try to get some pictures up tomorrow.

Here's a couple of pictures of the meter. These are the sticks I have.
Look like Heathkit and Futaba.
I would have posted them sooner but I couldn't get on RC U earlier.

Are you still looking for the panel meters? I may have some, they are the 0-1ma edge meter, I think they were made by Electro Mechanical. I also used them in the Royal Electronics transmitters from 1968-1983. Let me know and I will check my stock of old R/C radio parts.
Best to contact me at my email: [email protected]
