Motor Thrust Angles
I will be building a Berkeley Super-Brigadier for R/C flying with electric power. This is a 50 year old kit and will be a very gentle flyer.
Looking at the plans, I see no down thrust or right thrust in the motor mounts and no mention of this on the plans. I fly other airplanes with these thrust adjustments.
I'd like some advice on thrust angles for the motor for this plane.
Thank you.
Dick

RE: Motor Thrust Angles
No need to worry about thrust angles. That was all taken care of in the design of the aircraft through wing and tail incidences. Just install your electric motor mounts so that you will be able to "tweek" the engine thrust a bit to trim for powered flight.
