Help, What plane is this??????
I was given this plane back in 1991 and I would love to know what it is. I thought it might be a sterling Fledgling but after looking at the planes I doubt it mostly because of the length discrepancy. Any way I hope someone knows what it is.
Wingspan 56"
Cord 10 7/8
Length 45.75 (Not including engine/spinner)
Flat bottom airfoil, Solid Wingtips, Solid Stabilizer/elevator with Rounded corners unlike Sterling Fledgling, Cap strips on ribs, sheeting from leading edge to upper and lower spars, 40 size

Don't think it's a Bridi Trainer .40 as they had a small cabin beneath the wing and a semi-symetrical airfoil. Looks like a Fledgling to me.

LOL, I give up...it's certainly not a 3 channel Bud Atkinson designed Aristo Cat. I built one not that many years ago for VRCS event... the photos here are not of one.
It is a Bridi Trainer Kraft 40 (not Trainer 40), it's 1970's kit and I built on late 80's with a Webra 40 Blackhead.

Thanks guys, I was hoping to build one but I think I will have to scratch build it if anything. I have been looking but can not find a kit or even a mention of this airplane. Too bad because this plane flew AWESOME.

Well you can laugh all you want but the AristoCat I built last year from my old orginal Midwest kit was provided with the material and plans to add Strip ailerons to fly it also in class 111 If desired. I elected to to use two small servos instead of a single with torque rods.
So perhaps its not such a funny submission after all.

RE: Help, What plane is this??????
To me the green and the white planes are different planes. The fin top and bottom are different, andthe total hatch areais different, the green ones wing looks flat. The tall of the fuse looks like the it drops down to the stabilizer on the white one. and is more flat with the wing on the green one.
I say they are close, but different planes.
Just my .02 cents

Hi John,
My Midwest Aristo Cat Wing Plan show a 62" Wingspan, he said his mystery plan has a 56" Span.
Mystery model looks like a Joe Bridi design.

Not sure if you would be willing to go a bit larger or not, but BlueJay still has kits for the Bridi Aircruiser 60, which looks almost identical, but is 61"+ WS instead of 56"
I don't see a listing on their site for the TrainerKraft series, but you might try them and see.
Here is a link to the Aircruiser 60 kit:
Bridi Aircruiser 60
Good luck with your search!
