Default Does anyone know about this kit

I got to raid some of Jim Florio's stash and scored a "Schuco Hegi Ranger " kit. It appears to be old, possibly early 70s (maybe older). It has a 57 1/2" wingspan, can be built R E T or rudder only, calls for a .19 to .35 engine, and includes tissue and paper covering. I could find absolutely nothing about this kit. Has anyone ever heard of it or possibly even had one? John

Wow 233 views and it has stumped everyone, no one knows about this kit. Even though it's rare I will probably build it next winter. John

Probably not all that rare or unknown in Germany and I suppose if you you posted on a German based site you may have more response. Its unlikely this was ever retailed in the US.

When I came home from Germany in the early sixties I returned with many wonderful German kits and Schuco Hegi was one of the companys but that particular design was not among them.
