What sort of powerplant are you contemplating ? Two-stroke glow, four-stroke, electric, etc ?

In SAM competition, your 78" Bomber would weight about 60 ounces and may well have an ignition 60 up front. And it would go straight up. For just relaxed flying, even a 30 four-stroke would fly it most nicely.

Your open rocker 40 would probably be just great in the Bomber, providing you didn't make a lead sled out of it. The Bomber builds light and is plenty strong enough for normal flying. It's the ultimate R/C trainer.
