Tom... Beautiful rendition of the Monoprep man. I can't quite see a date on the MAN cover there... very nice classic recreation in any case.

Thanks !

It's a 1981 plan. I modified the design to add ailerons, and a few other updates.

This was my first scratch build (plans build). I cut the parts on my bandsaw. It wasn't difficult. These plans would make a great project for anyone that like to get their feet wet in building from plans. .

I have a suspicion that Mountain Dew is the secret of Tom's speed-o-build.

LOL

I've cut my pop consumption down to one can a day.

I do have a frige in my shop, but it doesn't contain any Mountain Dew.

So that explains why that dog is so laid back. You open a can sit it down and Tallie finishes it off while you're building and not paying attention! Tallie must have some monstrous hangovers!

His style is reminiscent of the WPA Art Recover Program and the Art Deco Graphic Designs both of which I am a fan!

My Luscombe is coming along.

The cowl isn't remotely close to being accurate.

I don't know, Dave. This one sure is ugly.

I may see if I can modify this one to look somewhat better. It will require surgery to do so.

This is what it's supposed to look like.

Not the prettiest cowling I have seen. I guess you have to decide how scale you want your airplane to look. I have a Globe Swift project in the queue and I must admit it was the cowling that sucked me in. It smiles for the camera when you take a picture!
